I am a computer programmer and a very ambitious one. Apart of working on my daily job I was trying to find a job online, not only because of money, but I want to expand my options. Working for someone else, doing everything they told to do, hoping that they would notice my hard work and grant me bonus or other benefits, haaaah. Not my thing. I tried for nearly six months on odesk and finally got one job.
Its about the internet of things. As internet is going cheaper and cheaper nowadays, and all the services are migrating to the internet. You could even find a photoshop there, lookout, etc. So the concept is that, some years from now in the future, you will only need a computer with a browser software in it. All your stuff, will be in the cloud. Even your files, your movies, songs, your development platforms(java, eclipse, php) will be hosted in a cloud and you will use it through internet from anywhere you like, anytime you like. That is the product I am working on.
The concept is pretty simple.I am gonna write about the architecture of the system. First there is a CAS(Central Authentication System) which will authenticate you whenever you wish to access a service. Then your particular data is loaded in the Cloud through an instance Manager application. There might be some proxy applications which will help in communication from the amazon cloud to your desktop. There will be an streaming application that will stream the desktop of the amazon cloud to your Browser, and sends the commands back to the amazon instance.
